Short Hunt - Park Yields Silver

Wow, was it hot today! I cut my detecting short due to the heat, but not before picking up a few keepers. I may have to start taking advantage of the early weekend mornings in order to avoid becoming a fried egg while working the open fields.

No Barber coins this time, but I do love finding the mercury dimes.

There are fifteen wheat cents and one Indian Head cent in the bunch. The lone Indian Head cent I picked up locally while scouting out a new site.

A neat button which I also picked up at the same site as the Indian Head cent.

Once again all I can say is :shocked04: wow. The history in this valley started just prior to the turn of the century so I'm still hoping for finds like that. I have never even held an Indian penny so I sure enjoy your posts and pictures.
