Was hunting a 1880s house.Found a 1953 quarter and 1940 merc. Found also two wheats and a hot wheels of course. There was a woman there that told me that she has a whites buts is unable to find anything. I told her next time I come there I will show her how to operate it so she can start finding stuff. Figure it is a way to give back and help somebody else who has not had any luck with a machine. She might want to try a different yard because the E-trac is a very good machine. Went over the yard with the stock coil, NEL storm, and X-5 sunray. Does not leave much to get. LOLtodays1953.jpg

Good catch on those silvers! Nice way to give back to the hobby as well. I agree that the ETRAC leaves little behind, though Whites are good machines too. Have another member here with an etrak that overlaps the area I hunt and I can tell when he's been to the sites I'm hunting as there isn't even a gum wrapper left to find!

Nice score.. yeah. I was thinking to have the gf do some practice in the yard... too bad I already nabbed almost all the stuff there including the crap aluminum flashing.

I hate that aluminum Flashing. I have been cut on it at least 3 times. Got another house across the street to do tomorrow It is 1875. Hope to find some more silver. I am like a door to door salesman. I go from house to another house. I detect and talk to other people at houses next to each other. Hope to detect my who town before I die. People will be running inside when they see me. They already dont answer the door. I KNOW THEY ARE IN THERE. I will catch them outside one day. LOL

Now that's being persistent. Congrats on your silvers and good luck on that 1875 house.

Nice job... I remember every kid having multiple Hotwheels....I don't remember playing outside with them, though. :clapping:

Great finds. I think next year I have to break the ice on house hunting as the area is getting tough. The two private permissions I have gotten over the years have produces silver so there is plenty to be found. Great finds WD
