I usually like to hit the trail early but it was just TOO COLD this morning. So I waited to about 09:00 before I ventured out. By then it had warmed to a toasty 20 degrees but the wind was still howling. It really wasn't bad though once I got in the woods. 5 layers helped. 6 counting the backpack
Revisited a couple old cellar holes.
The relics to the left are actually from a few weeks ago. Managed a broken ornate knee buckle frame, thimble and buttons. Today's catch is on the right. More of the same. Broken shoe buckle frame, thimble, buttons and an 1817 Matron Head.
A little chilly but it felt good to get out.
