Not much for about 3 weeks hunting but the SLQ was on my wish list for a long time :happydance01: and its got a date 1918 <:

That is exellent!!!

I have found more seated coins than SLQ's. They are rare, and very great to find. Especially with a date!
 
Yep, SLQ's are a rare breed indeed lol I find them every so often and mostly dateless. Glad you got a date off of yours. It doesn't have a S mintmark by any chance?? There is a rare 1918S 8/7 variety and it brings big bucks :shocked04: Great hunt Spike.
 
It has the S mint mark - but not double stamped. It has an M on the opposite side of the mintmark- any idea what that is?

The M is the designer's initial. It has the S ?? Are you sure the top of the 8 isn't flat like a seven is underneath it?? Great even if it's not the overdate.
 
I am 95% sure it's not- the top is wore off but the bottom hole of the 8 is open with no line through it. :crying02:
