Went out this morning for the last hunt of 2010. Just too much snow in the woods. I stayed in the woods for about an hour then headed over to a school field that had spots of grass showing. My 1 and only target dug was a 1958 Wheat that took a full 10 minutes to dig down the 6 frozen inches :bangahead01: Tomorrow its supposed to be 48* here on Long Island. Maybe I'll try the school field again. Enjoy the night folks!! :happydance01:

You are killing me...I want to go detecting lol But I don't miss chopping the ground though  Hope the ground thaws out for you to try again.

Those photos both make me cold :frozen: and make me wish to be out there! What a peaceful looking place. And hey, you found a wheat so it was worth it :happydance01: And a pulltab -- it seems fitting that you should find a pulltab on the very last day of the year, given your name :happydance01: :) thumbsup01

Glad you were able to get out and have some fun :)

I make sure I dig at least 1 pulltab per trip  And BTW, the 1953 Canadian Judy penny was from the coinstar return slot :happydance01:
