Hi everybody- new to the forum but have been metal detecting for 10+ years. I'm still a newbie in a sense though- I've only logged about 20 hours on my new E-trac. I'm looking forward to learning from some of you seasoned E-trac veterans! Thanks in advance! Viking

Viking! Welcome from Long Island NY. There are alot of very experienced Etrac users here. Looking forward to seeing some of your finds! :peace: Take a look around and enjoy!

Thanks for the warm welcome, and the compliment on my avatar. Took me a bit of time considering I used PowerPoint and not photoshop. Almost gave up a few times, but pushed through... :white:usaflag::

Thanks RaZR. I'll be happy to post pics of finds if I make some good ones, God willing! So far the only noteworthy finds I've had in my short relationship with the E-trac are a half dozen wheaties and a lone silver dime (just barely a silver too- '64 Rosie). I have a goal of finding 20 silvers this year, and I mean to reach it! :daydream:

Welcome to a fellow mder from Colorado! What part are you from I am in the southwest Littleton area.

Only 20 hours?! You must be doing something else :sleepy:...like have a life, unlike the rest of us...I think my wife thinks she's a widow this time of year, surprised he hasn't tried claiming the life insurance lol

Welcome to the forum, I love my E-Trac :smitten:...wasn't that way at first though

I'm up in Broomfield. And yes, I am [unfortunately] a Minnesota Vikings fan, having grown up in Minnesota. I say unfortunately because our beloved Vikes find a new and unusual way to break our hearts every year. Did you know that the Vikings have made the 2nd most playoff appearances since the merger (26, with Dallas in 1st place with 30) yet we haven't WON yet? 0 for 26. :barf: Heck, even the Cubbies are only 0-13 since they last won a W.S., granted it's been 101 years. Ugh. :bangshead02:

Sorry for the rant. I feel better now.

Thanks for the welcome and HH rsarge1.
