Went to the park and met up with Angel. He was the smart one and brought his shovel.. The ground was very frustrating, most areas were rock hard and you had to find the soft areas which made it not to fun. I almost called it quits then hit this ring I tough was Silver but turned out to be junk. What a creepy looking one.. January digging is tough..

Cool looking ring. I think someone is going to have nightmares tonight rofl Yea, January can be tough on grass areas. Frustrating as it was, you did get to go out and swing

OMG! :shocked04: :shocked04: :shocked04:stretcher:

I heard about that ring, but the verbal description didn't do it justice. I'm scared lol

Wow! It's uglier looking than what we though it would be before you cleaned it up - a skeleton face. lol It is a very cool find. :)

Just remember what happened in the Excorcist.... and who could forget what happened when Greg Brady found that creepy looking thing... lol Nice hunt buddy!

Very cool. That is the cyclops from the old movie The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad. One of my favorites when I was a kid. Nice find. thumbsup01

That is indeed a spooky ring.

It amazes me that those ugly, spooky rings are sometimes silver. I found a spinner a couple of years ago that really surprised me when I cleaned it up and found 925 inside. I used it for an avatar at Halloween once.

Sounds like one of those Twilight Zone episodes where somebody finds something and
they are cursed until they get somebody else to take it off them. Chances are the BOSOX
will never win another pennant until you pass it off on a Yankees Fan. :shocked04:

You got the jump on me, Hoser. I woulda said the same exact thing! lol

are you guys sure it wasn't sinbad and the eye of the tiger that was released in 1977

The one that stands out in my mind with the Cyclops is The Seven Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor (the title of the original book) with thier state-of-the-art, stop-action filming, but that's showing my age.

Hey, I still prefer Stop-Motion Animation over CG.

Yes, you get get better textures over objects with CG and hence they may look more realistic.
But you can still tell they aren't real. Since Stop-Motion uses an actual model the camera can pan
and move realistically which I think is better. Ray Harryhausen was the Pro at this work. Name
just ONE CG Animator ?

Off my Soapbox now,
