I found this in a wood chips tot lot Saturday night and can't find out anything positive on the sites I have tried . It's a man's ring , 9.4 grams and I see no obvious signs of corrosion . GB means it could possibly be gold covered silver or some other metal but the meaning of the...

    "Been thru Hell ":Morgan "

I haven't made many good finds this year but this has been my best so far . It was found in a most unlikely spot , alongside my next door neighbors house . I have to say I was both shocked and thrilled . This is the second Morgan of my career , not as pretty as my first ( a 1921 ) but...

Another 3+1/2 hrs. at the same sportsfield . The weather was nice .No silver coins today but four wheats and a bit of modern money that together totaled $3.30 . The ring was about 7" deep . Its signal was similar to the Walker I got on the last hunt only a bit more definite .The ring...

    The return trip

I went back to that 1934 School I detected last night with my "wounded " Explorer 2 and a 6" Detech coil . I put in another 2+1/4 hrs. in that scraped , approximately 20'x20' area . I dug some more junk ( not pictured this time ) A nice Merc , two more wheats , and another Chinese...

    New hope?

This evening , I drove to the next town just to check up on an old site . It's a school built in 1934. Up to know I've dug about a dozen wheats , a bit of clad and a 1935 Merc there .They had tore out a patch of Ivy a while back and all I found was a little more clad . In...

Debating as to wether or not to sell off some of my herd and going for a 600 . Anyone experiencing the loose shaft wiggle or balance issues or any other issues ? It seems a lot of folks either love or hate the new Nox . If the ID is not that accurate , that's no big deal to me as I...
