Latest Stuff - Gold, Silver, and more

So this is a summary of the last few months for me. I haven't gotten out as much as the temps here in SC have reached an all time high for this year :shocked04: Went back to the school honey-hole and searched around a bit, and decided to run my detector wide open so I could hear everything. I...

Latest Update: Some silver, lots of bottles. PIC HEAVY.

Okay, so this happened maybe about a month ago. Went to my favorite spot and dug a funky 70-75 on the AT Pro, with my brand new 5X8 coil. Dug down and pulled a 1940 wheat, then I ran over it again. Perfect 82-83 and I could see a Mercury in the hole. The date caught me off guard--1917, and an S...

Bucket Lister! SLQ, Buffalo, and War nickel!

Went to my favorite spot and left with a handful of wheats and and a Buffy! 1924, looked for a D but I can't seem to find it :( Went back the next day and got a 89-92 VDI on the AT Pro.. I didn't think it was a silver quarter at all. I saw the reverse first and it dawned on me: I had dug a SLQ...

    Silver and some Relics!

Same spot as always, the house site from the 1920's still is spitting coins out as of yesterday! Three silvers, the most silver coins I have ever gotten in one day. An amazing AU mercury dime, and two war nickels, found right near each other. Also found two buckles, the smaller one I almost...

Lots of goodies: Coins, Buttons, and more!

Finally decided not to be lazy for once and make a post on here. These are things I have dug recently and haven't posted on here :) This is all from one spot, which is a bulldozed house in town that I've been hitting since August. It was believed to be built in the 1920's, and apparently had...

First Hunt of 2016 - An awesome token, some wheats, and some unknown objects?

Went out of town to Augusta, GA and detected for two days. I had some fun but wasn't too thrilled that each school I went to was hunted out :( Found some house sites in an older area, didn't have any info on them--I just stumbled upon them. I start digging wheats right away, but they're 1-3...

Oldest Indian and a VERY clean Buff + Rosie!

It's been a long time since I had a week like this! A silver, an indian, and a buffalo!! Hit my 1939 honey hole school (fun fact: this school was among one of the many schools that was in FDR's New Deal plan.. Thought that was interesting;)) and explored in some areas I hadn't hit. 20 minutes...

    Two New Rings

This is the same place I found the toasted silvers and indan at. I got my first silver ring probably a week ago, and yesterday I came back there and got my first gold ring.. 10K!! It came out of the ground so dull and ugly, I figured it wasnt going to be anything good. Got the padlock there as...

A new spot and a BUCKET LISTER!!!

There's a spot in downtown that has been a few things through time. In the early 1900's, a house stood, then a laundromat, which was torn down and the parking lot with it was ripped out as well. I detected around there eariler this year, found two mercury dimes and a bunch of wheat cents. I went...

Finds from this week and all the coins from the honey hole

Had a decent week. Went a few houses from the 60's and found a few wheats and a lone rosie, a 52 S. Went to my "honey hole" and pulled my second buffy :grin: the details are amazing :shocked03:. then found a mercury dime in another hole that was infested with iron.. the at pro is very good...

Hello from the lowcountry of SC

Hi! Been metal detecting since June of this year, had an ace 250 then upgraded to an AT pro. Love my machine, found 15 silvers so far. Also found a large cent, buffalo nickel, and just recently I found a King George III coin. :) Ryan
