12 Silver Coins today including 6 in a spill!

It was an unbelievable 70 degrees today so I had to get out for a hunt! I had permission to hunt a private residence, the house was built in 1890 and has a HUGE yard. I didn't find anything as old as I hoped, but I did get several silvers.

Towards the end of my hunt I got a steady 11-45 on my E-trac. Imagine my excitement when silver dime after silver dime kept coming out of the hole! Six silver Roosevelts and a clad dime dated 1965. The most silver coins I've ever found in one spill!

I ended up with 12 total silver coins today:

EXCELLENT day Tony! I am really happy for you. That yard produced a lot of silvers for you. Congrats on finding such a nice silver spill too. That coin spill must have happened in 1965. That heel plate is a relic of the civil war and apparently a rarer variety. I just looked on eBay and saw a dug one that sold for $68! Best wishes and HH, Dave.

Holy Cow Tony! That's a spectacular hunt! Can you back? Is there more land to hit? How long did it take you to dig all those keepers?:notworthy:

:wow: Tony , were you listening to AC/DC "Whole lot of Rosie" on the way to the home ?? a six silver coinspill is quite an exciting find :happy:and a great total for the day .
 
Nice to see you getting out lately. Good to see you haven't lost your touch. Hmm... I haven't gotten a silver spill yet. That needs to happen. The heel plate is nice. Not many of the clover style come up.
 
WOAH~! Awesome spill man, and a dozen silvers is phenomenal! I got 10 in one day on Saturday but this blows it out of the water.
