13th Hunt for 2010... Buckle, Silver, Indian, Relics...

Hello All!

I headed north to the Boston area to hunt to Mr. Dan ... We had a great day of it... food, chat, shared finds... swung the coils... pulled up some goodies :-)

My finds for the day:



Dan can tell you... this read 01/49 01/50 @ 4 but was a good 11 deep...



This find sang like a silver quarter @ 6... ANy thought on what it is, or from ??





This IH came out of the ground in great shape!



I had 10 wheats, 1 indian head, and this older Canadian Penny...

Wow, some excellent finds! :shocked04: Love the silver and relics. I especially like the red thing... what is on the back? Is it some sort of pin?
 
That's a great hunt.. That buckle is just like the colonial ones we find. If it had the guts in it, you could tell for sure, but I think it's the oldest find there. Great silver, nice pin, although I'm not thinking military, maybe patriotic support. Still, it's silver too or at least heavy plated lol . Maybe someone who collects military items can help on that one. Try Googleing the name on the back. Nice all around hunt. I'd be happy with that :yes:
 
looks like a very good hunt Paul your buckle looks like a small colonial shoe buckle frame to me . the pin could be a military
insignia of some kind but i'm really not sure . great silver and relics .
