1841 seated half!!

Hey everyone,
I've only found one seated half and it was a BEAT counterfeit. This one is really nice! :cheesysmile: The pictures don't do it justice. The owner wants to bring it to his historical society meeting tomorrow then give it to me. I'll take a cleaned up pic when I get it back.
I somehow scratched it :( I don't know how...I dug a crater sized hole.
The coppers are not discernible...but who cares when you dig seated halves!! :happydance01:
The owner gave me cookies too! :loveit:
Most of the time we spent chatting about history... the hunt was ONLY AN HOUR LONG!!! :yahoo:

You do know that Digger Don is the only one allowed to dig seated 1/2's......:lol:. Great dig Drew....:notworthy:
 
Don't clean it up too much. I just love the toning. The detail looks to be excellent!:notworthy:

Wow, look at the detail on it! I agree with Noah, just rinse the dirt off and leave that wonderful patina. Let us know if it has a mint mark.

I can't wait to see some photos of it cleaned up.

Just curious, do you remember what numbers it was giving as a response? 35? 38?
