From there I picked up three silver coins - a 1849/1848 Seated half dime, a merc and a Roosevelt dime. I also dug up five Indian Head cents, but they are corroded.

The Seated half dime is an overdate, 1849/1848.

Today afternoon I headed to detect at a small park I had recently spotted. I had a great time detecting there, picking up 23 silver coins - 7 Roosevelt dimes and 16 mercury dimes.

The site also yielded two large cents. I initially thought they were in better shape, but my eyes deceived me. 8/

An Old Dutch Cleanser watch fob. It still had a piece of the watch strap, but it must have dropped off when I took it out to take photos.
