Finally got a chance to get out and do a little detecting this weekend! <:
Saturday I spotted a old house for rent with the For Rent sign out in front with a phone number on it. I called the number, talked to the owner and within minutes was diggin'! thumbsup01
The finds weren't overflowing by any means but I did manage a few wheats and a 1865 IH
Todays Hunt
lol We were on our way to an old faithful place to swing for a couple of hours. While driving there we pasted a place we've been google eyeing for some time and spotted the owner out in his driveway. So we pulled in. Asked for permission and once again within minutes we dawned our gear and started swinging! thumbsup01 The first hole I dug was a ..... 1865 IH! :shocked04: :huh: A short while later I found my second ever 2 center! <: :happydance01: happydance02 It's a...... yeah you guessed it....it's a 1865!?! 8/ Wow weird is that? lol
I also found a first for me. Today's hunt also produced my first watch fob!
While hunting the new place I got w 01-43,04-45 at 4-5 inches :drool: Turned out to be the most intact pocket watch I've ever found.
Not only is it almost nearly all intact but it's a Mickey Mouse pocket watch! thumbsup01
Here it is with the fob(found in different locations).
Some of the other finds: Part of a old cap gun, a Ford axle cover/ hub cap and lotsa keys
