1895 Barber Half!

We've had some warm days around here so this morning I tried one of my fields. I could work a shovel into the ground and leverage out the frozen top layer. It's my second Barber Half this year. Happy New Year everyone!!

Wow ! Two Barber Halves in one year that's fantastic , Congratulations ! Still looking for my first after all these Years . A very Happy New Years to you and yours Drew !

Nice one Drew! It's odd to see you with something that big that isn't green. :thumbsup01:

The only half I have ever found was a half of a dollar bill.

Sweet! Nice way to end the year. Keeps the blood flowing and wishing for unfrozen ground throughout winter. Happy New Year!

Thank you Bagers, Bucknut and Lodge Scent! Jeff, I'm surprised you haven't found any halves. I know you're a woods guy but I bet you have some old, well-traveled parks near you. You ever try them?

Wonderful find, Drew! Half Dollars from the 1800s don't turn up often. Congrats on the nice late season keeper!
