I dug this pretty little button today. Since learned word BEST on back.
I also dug a few other buttons and a 1901 Indian Head in good shape. Also dug two square nails and a few modern bullets.
It was a good day for 3+ hours in a cotton field.
*The button is a little smaller than a clad dime.
Back of button. Shank in tact.
NOTE: Since cleaning, BEST is visible on the back. Def NOT Colonial. Note to self, clean button 1st.
