1917 Type1 Standing Liberty Quarter, V nick, Earring, NEw Pattern E-trac

I have been running my new pattern That i set up for my E-trac. Went back to yards I have punded to death. Yesterday right out of the car and my first signal sounded like silver. Dug down about 6 inches and found a SLQ that might have been on edge. I had been to this yard
over 10 times. Only difference this time was setting up my own custom pattern. Here are my Pics and two patterns I am using. Earring could be gold. Rang up at 12-13 and is heavy. No markings but still has post and clasp. If anybody wants to try my pattern send me a private PM with your email address and I will send you my two patterns to try. I have 3 people currently trying it and 1 said it worked in a pounded out park and was able to recover coins in trashy areas that he had not found coins in two years. I have tried this pattern two times at 2 different houses I have pounded and found 1 silver each time.

WOW! SLQ's must be in season right now! Congrats! Does it have the stars under the eagle on the back? It looks like it might be an older one.

No stars below the eagle. I believe it is a type 1 1917. Thanks for the info.

It could be a 1916. There are slight differences between the 1916 and 1917 on the obverse, and several websites that show you how to tell the difference.
