Thursday evening I was able to get out for several hours at the campground where I am staying and these are the highlights of my hunt. A necklace medallion
Its in a dragon shape with Oriental symbols around it. Next was an old pocket knife
And my best find was a 1982 class ring
It has a name inscribed on the inside and I tried looking the name up on the internet and came up with 38 possibilities. Today I happened to show it to a seasonal camper here and he said that he knew the person and that they had spent their summers together here when they were kids! He contacted him for me to verify that it was him. He then let me talk to him to try and set something up to return the ring which will happen when he gets back home from his daughters wedding in Colorado. It appears he lost it over 30 years ago so he is quite excited to get it back. It was something to hear the excitement in his voice also. So when he gets back we will work out the details about getting his ring back to him. Thanks for reading and happy hunting.
