2 HUNTS*BUTTONS & A 2 CENT PIECE

last 2 hunts in one thread.nothing remarkable to brag about.got some nice old buttons ,a 1865 2 cent piece(4 on the year) & a beat up V-nickel.I must be in a copper slump :-\
somebody left their folding shovel at the cellar hole rofl
anyone know what the large brass oval thing is at bottom of pics? horse related i would imagine but what is it?
