Took Thursday & Friday off from work. Went way up North into Goshen & Norfolk to some new sites. Seems like Goshen is pounded. Was able to nab a this cool cuff link. Pat'd Dec 2 84.

On Friday my good friend Frank & I met up to hit some sites up his way. We went back to the Fugio site & was able to nab a few more keepers. Dug this amazing Sunburst Cloaker! Thought I had a copper till I saw the shank but then saw some design and thought I dug my 1st GW. Either way I'm stoked with this find.

That is one nice dandy button Roger , all the finds are good ones ! How did frank do and I hope he is feeling a lot better .

Thanks Guys!

Dan - Frank is doing a LOT better.

Drew - It's gold plated with cut glass. Was thinking all gold until I saw some of it that was missing. I'm pretty sure its 1884.

Excellent finds and great early coat button! The Dec 2, 1884 patent date relates to the clasping mechanism on your cufflink. I found a woman's black cameo collar clasp a few years back which had the same type of back clasp with the identical pat. date.
