Last August I got into this great hobby and immediately got hooked on finding silver coins. I spent all of last fall searching for silver.

Around May, I decided to give an honest effort to find some gold this year. Many, many pull tabs later I can finally say I found my first gold. :clapping:

I found this yesterday about 3 inches down...

....... no silver though. :ticked:

Aye yie yie lol That's one lump of gold :shocked04: Maybe I better start digging them pull tabs lol What a great find and it looks heavy. Paid for a very good chunk of that machine just in one find. Congrats on that gold :beerbuddy:

Whoa, sweet find :cheering: How much does it weigh?

I really should have put a coin in for size reference because the necklace is not that heavy. I don't have a scale, but I'm sure it wouldn't ring up as too much. The clasp is pretty standard size... you can use that for reference.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone!

:shocked04: Who cares about silver when you can find that! Great find!!! :cheering:

I gotta be honest, I think I would have rather pulled a nice silver quarter instead. Of course a gold coin or ring would definitely change my mind pretty quick. It's just nice to finally get that gold monkey off my back.

but... any gold is good gold.

 You can cash that thing in anywhere for likely enough money to buy a whole mess of silver quarters!

Awesome on the gold find! I found one like that last year and ended up cutting it into three pieces with my Lesche when I retrieved it...ugh!
