some finds from 2010. I bought the largie from a coin dealer but dug the rest. The Megalodon tooth I found in Florida in 2006 and my sister wrapped it in silver so I could wear it. Thanks for looking.

Cool finds .Love the large cent ( that's some history there) and your sister did a nice job on wrapping the tooth ( that isn't an easy thing to do ). thumbsup01 8)

looks like some nice silver finds,it's been a while since i've dug a buff myself
I sure wouldn't want to get bit by that thing :shocked04:

Great bunch of finds there Z. :clapping:

The tooth is fascinating and an amazing find. Care to give us a few details on the discovery?

Nice tooth and probably the oldest thing you have found by far lol The Draped Bust is a real nice coin also. And no one evey turns down silver :smitten: Sweet finds.

I was sitting on the beach in Venice, Florida (on the gulf side) and feeling around in the surf and first I found a piece of petrified wood. Then about two seconds later I felt something under my fingers and pulled out the shark tooth from the water. I started looking for sharks teeth because my wifes grandfather told me a lot of fossils and teeth are found on that beach. Little kids were running around and finding these little prehistoric mako shark teeth and I decided to try my hand at it. After finding only some small teeth I decided to sit and cool off in the surf and thats when it happened. :shocked04: :shocked04: :shocked04: :omg: <: <: <: <: <:
The tooth looks just like it did when I pulled it from the water.
