3 Little Indians & Other Goodies

Got out yesterday to an old virgin site of mine I've pounded on and off for years. Used my 6x10 DD to see what I might have missed. Spent several hrs there re-gridding the site & was rewarded with the Flintlock hammer, pc of a shoe buckle and an odd pc that looks like a shell casing, and a Button. The top has threads inside & the bottom has a lead base, no idea what it was.

I moved onto another site & snagged the 3 Indians (1881, 1884, 1889) as well as the 1864 2 Cent pc. Also got the Cloak button, Button back.

Now that's an amazing day! Clear date on the 2cent too! Wonderful hunting weather this weekend! :congrats:

Yes, it was. After 6hrs of hunting I went home & cut the grass for 2hrs, ugh, way over did it.

Today was a top 10 day, so took the 68 Charger out for a nice ride with my wife & youngest son to get ice cream.

Those are some fantastic finds! Sometimes it really pays to go back over areas you've pounded in the past. Changes in ground moisture, hitting targets at a different angle, different state of concentration listening to the signals, and other variables can dramatically change the day.

Yep 100% true!
