Howdy diggers,

Since I had today off, I decided to hit a couple banks for half dollars. Of course I got the usual we only sell coins to members and do you have an account here? I went to a small bank in a small town and asked for halves. She said they had a $500 box they had ordered, but the person never picked them up. I think she was glad to get rid of them too!

I brought the box home and was like a kid at Christmas unrolling them 1 at a time and looking for silver! Each roll is like a little lottery ticket and it is a lot of fun peeling the paper back and peeking at the edges to see if there is any silver. Well, I got 5 more silvers (all 40%)! That takes my total for the month of January to 214 silver halves. Not a bad return on my money. Here's a couple pics, thanks for looking, HH and on-on!
