4 copper day*shoe buckle & knee buckle

Congrats on the positive ID on that Revolutionary War era writing instrument! What an incredible piece of history!

Once again, you found an incredible bunch of colonial coins and relics, Dave!

:perfect10:

At least you were able to find both parts to the writing instrument. Obviously not a usual find. I saw no answer but I will fill it in. It is definitely a 1745 George II copper. I knew from the way the bust was facing. I noticed the other one with no date, the "pony tail" was more prominent. The bust was facing the other way in 1785 for a CT copper. Nice finds. The ornate buckle too.
