4 hour Corn Field hunt - my first 1/2 Reale

Went for a 4 hour hunt yesterday back at the Corn field. The bullets stopped and everything else started ..
My first good signal was the 1/2 reale, a first for me ever, and I was pleased to see it holed. Having a hard time making out the date, I can see the 1 and the last number 5, but the rest is difficult to read.

My other finds were a skeleton key , 3 buttons, one with fancy and a cuff link.

Heading back out today..

Very cool finfs, congrats on the Spanish silver! It looks pretty oxidized, so you could clean it with the foil, baking soda and hot water method. I had a "smooth" seated dime similar to this and once it was cleaned I found I had good detail and even a clear date underneath. Might be worth a try.

Congrats on the real Scott , the "pillars" design type was before the ruler bust type and would put it from 1732 to 1772 .

Thanks for the suggestion

Incredible find, Scott! Congrats on your first Half Real.

1755 was my guess when you posted it on Facebook. Definitely an oldie!

Grats on some Spanish silver and the skeleton key. Both great finds.

Ask Lee about the pillars. Lol.
