4 Hour Hunt - ca 1860 School House - Nickel Grandslam

These are not my finds, but they were found by my uncle this afternoon when he received permission to hunt at a circa 1860 school house on private property. The lady has owned the property since the 1960's and she thought it had been detected about ten times before and she has chased off numerous detectorists in the past that did not have permission. My uncle has this knack for finding nickels with his MXT and he got four nice ones today. Also, he found his first ever Canadian large cent, an 1859. He does not post on the forums and these finds were just too nice not to share with this group.

Not for lack of wanting to, but I just couldn't get out of work on Friday. We will be going back again and hitting the bean field adjancent to the school house for sure.
