4 Silvers, 1 Buffalo, and a Lincoln Token...

Hello all!

We are still in summers grip, but I had to get out... I headed to a site that has yielded me 12-15 silver coins last year... This is my first trip there this year...

1st Coin was a wheatie and the 2nd was a silver quarter... 3.5 hours yielded me 3 wheaties, 4 silvers, and a Lincoln Token...

The dirt here was bone dry and target were hard to indentify and pin point... and fairly scarce... This was a section that I had never covered before...

Very nice, 4 silvers, wheats and a Lincoln token. Betcha you're gonna go back there again. NIce hunt, we do need some rain to dampen the earth. Congrats on all the finds

You had a great hunt and picked up some very nice finds. I find plenty of copper but I'll trade for some of your silver. Great hunt congrats.

Very nice finds as always, Paul! (And great photography too!) You seem to be able to find keepers even when the conditions aren't optimal. Can you make out the date on the Buffalo?

Congrats on the neat finds! :clapping:

I tried to hunt here this morning but the ground is like concrete so I gave up. We need rain bad! I'm going through serious detecting withdrawals! :-\

Thank you sir :-) I just ordered a table top studio to take even better pictures... Stay tuned :-)

The Buffalo is a 1916...

HH!

Nice haul Paul :clapping: 4 silvers is a real nice hunt :happydance01: Is that Lincoln token one of those Shell game pieces from the 60's or 70's?? I'm finding the E Trac falses less and separates better when the ground is dry or at least when the upper layers are dry. But depth is reduced on the very deep stuff. I am gonna try it at a real trashy site or park when it dries up some more and see if that happens again for me. Is that a 1916 Buffalo? Bet it felt nice to get out and dig for a while. :daydream:

Edit...I just read you post on the date of the Buffalo lol

Glad you got out Paul and made some nice finds to boot. :clapping:

I'm still having a hard time dealing with the heat/humitity. crying01

Great finds Paul and your pictures remind me that I have to do a lot more work on improving the quality of mine . :cool: thumbsup01 Sometimes I have to take so many shots to get even average ones that it drives me nuts . >:{

Congrats on the Silvers and Buffalo Paul :perfect10:
