Howdy diggers,
I thought I'd revisit an older park that I had hunted a couple times with my ACE 250. The e-trac did not disappoint! I snagged over 100 coins including 10 wheat pennies, 1 buffalo nickel, and 7 silver dimes. Two of the dimes were Barbers and they were in the same hole tied together with a piece of half-rotted string! Not sure if it was a kid's bracelet or what. The park is quite large at 14 acres and I can see myself going back many more times. There was a ton of canslaw so I pretty much ignored nickel signals. I did however, get a solid 12-13 at 5 inches which turned out to be a real nice 1937 Buffalo. Today's silver put me at 99 for the year and I tried so hard to get that 100th but then I realized I should just slow down and relax. It will come when it comes (but I hope its a half dollar!). Here's some pics. Thanks for looking. Best wishes and HH, Dave.
