A beutiful SLQ

I managed one more hunt after a couple day thaw here in WI. I decided to return to the camp I've hunted recently and it gave up a few more nice ones. Within the first 10 minutes I found this beutiful 1924 SLQ. The silver slowed down for the next couple hours until I hit a 40 Washington. The next sliver was the Rosie and I ended the day with a 34 Merc. I also found $3.26 in clad and 14 wheats, one of which was a 35-S which I needed for my wheat book.

That SLQ is incredibly beautiful, Jeff! :loveit:

One of my all-time favorite coins, and that is an amazing example. Rarely do you see an SLQ coming out of the ground looking that nice!

Way to pick up a stunning late season keeper! :perfect10:

That SLQ is incredible! I had really hoped I would find my first this year...great to see they are out there! You sure don't see many dug in better condition than that one. Congrats!

That SLQ looks like a fresh drop. Incredible condition.
Congrats on all your finds.
You sure do find some great sites.!!

:wow::drool: that SLQ is stunning huge :congrats: that is on my top 5 most wanted list :) also Congrats on finding another wheat cent for the book :clapping: Great Hunt

A bunch of nice silver. Glad it thawed and hope it's not the last hunt for you. Thanks for sharing and have a Blessed Thanksgiving.

That is an awesome SLQ. I have seen these in the coin store; never dug one, but even the ones in the store didn't look near that good. :congrats:

Most people are lucky to get a SLQ without a date but your coin is absolutely beautiful. :thumbsup02: Probably the best one I have seen dug...:perfect10:. WTG on all your keepers.

Excellent finds for sure :thumbsup02: the SLQ is in incredible condition!!!!!!!!

Beautiful SLQ. I love this design, unfortunately they would wear down fast so most that you find don't have a lot of nice detail like yours. Great coin! I managed to find a similar piece dated 1920 back in June. Now if we could only find a 1916 like this we'd be smiling all the way to the bank.

:shocked04: Oh baby!! Is that thing nice!!:perfect10:
Nice find Jeff!!
Congrats!!

How deep was it? The one I found was probably 7 inches or so.
