Headed out with 'ol Captain Silver (From Friendly Forum) to one of his regular spots. I came up with an Army pin of some sort and a chrome plated single di. They were the only good finds of the hunt. A picture is posted on his thread here:

Anyway, I was pretty frustrated today for some reason and got a bit discouraged about not finding any old coins. >{ After a rest at home and a couple errands, I decided to hit a park near my house and try again before dark came. Near quitting time on the way back up to my car, I got a sweet signal and out came this nice little sterling silver ring. :happydance01: I don't know what the stone is but I doubt it's a precious stone, but who knows. I'm just glad I got a good find before the end of the day. Happy hunting! :groovy:
