A couple of Barbers

Made it out today much later than I wanted. At 10:00 this morning the temperature was well into the 80's and humid. :stretcher:

Last weekend I hunted a yard that gave up some nice keepers including some Barbers and IH's. While hunting that yard I couldn't help but notice
how promising the neighboring yard looked. So I tracked down the owner of the new yard and received permission to hunt.

I was able to pocket a few keepers before the heat won the battle.

A return trip to this site is top on my list... when the heat breaks a little.

Wow, nice job! erfect10: Getting permission is a rare and beautiful thing to me! It's tough to cold call/knock when a person doesn't know you, and they have no clue what metal detecting means. I found that out first hand this morning.

Yeah, it is a hit or miss thing... I get all kinds of reactions ranging from someone that is so excited that I offer to bring my spare detector for them to use all the way to me wondering if they misunderstood my request to mean I would like to harvest one of their kidneys. lol

I have yet to find one
