Hello all,
Seems like between family-work-dog-detecting... I have barely enough time to post anything I find!!
Actually-There was almost a full 6 weeks I had no time to detect. Well luckily-things are looking better and trying to jump start 2011.
These finds go back to Oct '10. And the first image you see is from this past weeks hunts at a small demo spot. Included (but not pictures) 27 wheats from the same site! Feb/March has my first 2 SLQ'a ever. And just 4 days ago I got my second Barber dime ever! A 1900 S. Last December I got my first 1800's era American coin-An 1897 S Barber dime. This I hope is a prelude to better and more finds in 2011. Good luck to all of you in your detecting outings in 2011!!

Wow, thats some nice stuff. That 1920 standing liberty is in great shape and you can still read the date! :happydance01:

Congrats on some nice old silver :) You have a couple I'm still looking for my firsts (SLQ and barber dime)...

I like the lion medallion- have any history on that? Is it a button? Great assortment of buttons!

Hey Thanks Dave! I have to say many thanks to you for getting the fire stoked and putting me in the right direction. Certainly would not have this stuff whithout ya-That's for sure!!

Carver-If I only found 10% of all the goodies you found.... many thanks to you as well for helping me BIG TIME with my detecting questions.
Thanks Wing-JT-Tanacat-Mike... Yeah that medalion is from ethiopia. Made during their first coin run-After-Giving Italy the boot just after WWII I believe. Yeah-I still can't believe I have the SLQ's and Barbers myself. I have to go and look at them from time to time just to make sure they are real.
Jim-Digger-Sheik-zrickkid... Yeah I can't wait to see what's next either... Hope you all get a few more checked off your list in 2011!!!

Beautiful collection of finds. :shocked04:
Add me to the list of folks who want to find a SLQ and silver spoon this year.
The SLQ is on the top of my list. :daydream:
All that silver has got me itching to go out.
