I haven't been out detecting recently, and haven't been active on the forum lately so here are a couple finds I've made lately. I have pretty good ideas about all of these, but I would still like your input on them.
some nice old relics sam.the spoon looks colonial to early 1800's pewter. mid 1800's suspender buckle.not sure on age of gun? late 1800's toy gun? brass compact cover and some older lead or pewter toy? nice old iron lock and a sweet modern pen & pencil!
I believe that's a Ticonderoga #2 in the upper right corner! :coffeelaugh: The other relics are pretty cool too. The gun looks like a very old toy gun but my favorite is the old buckle. It's got to be pretty old with those two pointy things on it. Congrats and HH, Dave.
Sam , congrats on still getting out :thumbsup02: I agree with Dave , the shell designed pewter spoon bowl is probably late 1700's era . The gun is an interesting piece and a great candidate for some electrolysis .
