Hello folks, since I've retired I really am enjoying this hobby. I like to hunt old yard and since my wife is related to lots of folks in our neighborhood, getting permission has been easy.

How fortunate that you have lots of good places to hunt! That's the biggest challenge in this hobby, finding productive sites to detect.

Welcome from western MA. Are you experiencing the 3 H's (hazy, hot and humid) like we are here in the Northeast. Looking forward to your future posts.

What type of detector are you using?

Welcome aboard Digger 2 :clapping: One of the hardest things to get is permission to hunt....you are way ahead of the game. lol Good luck hunting, and if you have any questions ask away.
 
Hi Digger2 and welcome from South Mississippi. Checked your location out and it looks like a good spot to be doing a little bit of digging. Besides if the river will ever go down a bit you could walk the flats without traveling far. Just jump out of bed and put your boots on and cross the road and your there.
