A Saturday Hunt with Tony Two-Cent

Digger Don

New member
I met up with Tony this past Saturday to do a little door knocking. I was a bit off my game, besides a few wheaties, All I dug was one Indian and a kids reporter badge. I still had a great time!!

On the way home I came across a town that looked promising so I stopped at one house and got a yes.
My very first signal, not 60 seconds on the lawn, I pulled a 42 Walker right along the sidewalk. About 20 minutes later I dug a 1915 motorcycle tag. Unfortunately, I rubbed off part of the date while cleaning it.

Not bad for a morning of detecting Don! I never realized the motor vehicle/bicycle tag also had "dealer" stamps! Probably fairly rare and worth a bit more to a collector. HH, Dave.

Another silver half Don! This is now becoming unfair. ;) In all honesty huge congrats on another big silver. BTW I just watched your recent vid of you digging that '26 dog tax tag. Just a really cool find also.

John

Congrats on yet ANOTHER silver half dollar, Don! You are the Half Dollar King! I love the Ward's Soft Bun Bread badge, as well as the vintage 1915 motorcycle tag. Those are great finds!

:congrats:
