A short picnic grove hunt.

I had a couple hours to hunt today so I returned to my honey hole and it produced a few more keepers. I switched to the SunRay X8 coil and slowly worked a small trashy area. The Merc is 1917. I also found 2 wheats 19 and 56 and $ 1.64 in clad. The ring is stamped Avon, it came in like a silver dime but I think it might be copper plated with silver or Nickle. It cleaned up nice so I'm not sure what it's made of.

Another successful trip to the honey hole Jeff! :clapping:
Congrats!

Great hunting. I am pretty sure that Avon did not make any rings of quality material. Congrats on the merc and wheats.

Great job Jeff. :clapping: It's nice to have a little hot spot in your back pocket. :smitten:
No matter how many times it is hunted... there's always a few more left.

Nice little hunt, Jeff! That 1917 Merc is a neat find. So often those early Mercs are worn paper thin but that one doesn't look bad at all.

Congrats on the wheats and silver! :clapping:
