A Six Silver Morning

We headed down to the 40's recreation site this morning for a little fall silver recovery. :)

Ron picked up a Washington for his 101st silver for the year from the area he found the Franklin half last week. :clapping:

I headed a different direction and went low and extremely slow in the pull tab zone and sniffed out these six for my collection. :happydance01:

The coins weren't very deep in the area I was searching, but the bottle caps and beaver tails are plentiful. I think I'll
throw on the X-5 next time. :thinkingabout: Might be worth the effort.

Holy cow! :wow:
6 silvers in one hunt is awesome Joe!
Congrats!
I'm sure you were quite relaxed on the way home... :daydream: lol

Love that photo! :smitten:

Fantastic hunt, Joe! <:

Yeah, if the coins aren't that deep and there is lots of trash, a smaller coil could really be beneficial.

What a terrific site! I'm sure there are many more goodies there waiting for you! thumbsup01

:wow: WTG Joe. Not deep is a good thing and that X-5 should really bring them out next time.

Great hunting :perfect10:

Great hunt Joe, obviously you went in the right direction! thumbsup01 What kind of depth can you get running that 5 coil?

Nice pulltab zone hunt Joe!
It's amazing how aluminum can distort silver signals. :shocked04: Only one of the rosies gave me a 'confident' signal.
The rest of them gave me only a whiff of silver. The Washington came in as an IH reading at best, way off from
what the normal reading should have been. It was the most surprising dig of the day for me.

I see that you have the x5 how well do you like it?
I haven't used it since last year. The last time... the X-5 pulled some nice IH's and silver out of
holes heavily littered with iron. :clapping:

Thanks Tony. I like this picture too. :smitten:
You are right, since the target coins are not too deep... the 5 coil might just pull out a few more keepers.

Thanks Dan. :beerbuddy: I'd happily trade these six for one large copper from your neck of the woods.

lol Yep, I picked a good section this time.
I haven't used the coil enough to give a good judgement of it's depth. But, I have pulled some nice keepers nestled in
with iron from the 4-6 inch range so far.

Thanks. Still no gold rings for me yet... but silver coins get under my coil from time to time. :)
