A Sunday Hunt With Daddy Digger & a Bucket Lister for Digger Al

Alec and I met up with Daddy Digger Sunday. The conditions weren't to bad. Although it was pretty hot, the area had some good rain lately and the ground was still moist. I'll Let Dave tell his story, "Spoiler" He dug the oldest coin of the day!

We stopped at several houses during the course of the day and I think we got a yes at every one. Besides a few wheats, I dug a couple of Rosies and a Washington.

Alec did a little better. He started out with a 1905 Barber dime, followed that with a couple of buffs,( 1917 and a 1935 )and at the last house of the day, he dug his first ever Two Cent Piece, an 1864.

The finds weren't jumping out at us, but we all did pretty good. It's always good hunting with Dave. Whether we pound it or not, we always seem to have a good time.

You guys found some great items! Congrats on the bucklister Digger Al! I look forward to the video!

Nice little haul Don and send my congrats to Digger Al for his first 2 center. I've only found 1 of those and was one of my more memorable finds, as I'm sure it was for him. Congrats.

Thanks, I will. His reaction was priceless. He thru both arms up in the air and fell onto his back.

Way to go on your first Two Cent Piece, Alec! :clapping: You're in the club now! :thumbsup01:

I'm glad you guys were able to get together for a hunt. All of this rain we're getting will surely help the detecting conditions.

Good job on your finds too, Don!

:congrats:
