What's amazing is how quiet the field was 8/ Mike and I got permission to detect an old 1810 church and field. It took us about a month to get permission. Had to go through proper channels. We were told it has been detected before many years ago. We did a quick 2 hour hunt today and didn't find any old coins 
We'll be back when we have more time to grid. On the way home we stopped by a farm we've been trying to get permission to for the past 3 months. Everytime we go knock on the door, nobody is around. Today we saw they were putting out fert so we hung out. When the owner came in I asked if we could detect the fields and before I even finished my sentence he said YES. happydance02 :happydance01: The farm has been in use for over 200 years
