An SLQ and some friends this week

Found an SLQ at a new location this week and followed that up with a nice Washington at a pounded out park as they say. Matter of fact found a Merc and Rosie in the same area. Definitely some off signals with garbage along side but still good enough to dig. The Washington was especially surprising. Put the big coil on for the first time this year and hit a Merc within 15 minutes then 2+ hours of no more Silver but a few older Wheaties. All and all a pretty good week. Wisconsin Digger

I'd agree that is a good week of detecting. Those SLQ's dateless or not are beautiful. did the bigger coil give you more depth?

:congrats:on a great week of detecting.

I think it does but I use it so infrequently I can't say for sure. It sure gives you a lot of confidence that you are covering and area well. I would say this Merc was a good 7-8" which is a little deeper than I usually find coins at this park. WD

:congrats:That sure was a good haul of silver for a pounded park!:groovy: I Hope you can find more! HH

All in All, A Very GOOD Weekend. Great finds.
How do you like that big coil. I tried my son's once and it seemed hard to pinpoint with it.
