Dug a dateless, pretty abused liberty cap today. This is my third liberty cap (all abused like this >{), and my 50th career copper. Had a bit of a run of luck with coppers lately, digging 4 in the last week and half or so.

Also dug a rosie today for my 99th silver of the year. HH everyone.

Coppers are nice to get even when they are beat up. You must be detecting in an old area. I'd pound that area, there may be more and better ones.

2. Are these typical results for your part of the country, or are you considered a local legend by your metal detecting friends and enemies?

3. Don't be jealous, but I am at one penny, one hutch soda bottle, and a marble for 2012. I am not counting my court appearances as finds or I would be doing much better!
