Had to work last two days, so I decided to go hunt this morning after a day of rain here in Sherbrooke... Did hunt at the Old School for about two hours... No silver again, but found some modern coins... 8.60$ (Including 0.06$ US)

Well...The building date 1921, but I was told that there was another one before...

Yes, I'm lucky that in Canada we have dollar and two dollars in coins... :yes: At least, I can spare some money for my next detector... :grin:

The glitch is that those coins, escepted the pennies (and the nickel here), are often detected as iron or bottle caps and pull tabs... As you can see, in the picture, the canadian quaters (recent ones) are made of steel plated with nickel and even tends to rust... Loonies and twoonies were made in nickel plated with bronze or pure nickel for the ring of the 2.00$. For those last two (1.00$ and 2.00$) they are now produced in steel also. (It is a pain in the ass for vending machines owners, because most of them are not ready for the 2012 1$ and 2$...)

Thank you for your encouragements, Aloldstuff an Starman2, I will continue to pratice my swinging... And keep you informed with the Forum <}

yup it does add up fast Daniel , be patient you'll get there with the silver . remember your coins are usually 80% silver and at deeper levels will read even lower . so keep digging the targets you digging the silver will come .
