Another Etrac hunt

Hey Gang! 5th day into a flu but feeling good enough to get out and dig. MikeL found another awesome spot in the woods where a house once sat. After scraping the ICE off the windshield >{ I was on my way to meet Mike at his house. It was a cold, ugly morning but as always we had fun. My first good target was a nice tone at 8. I really dont remember the numbers... My pinpointing skills with the etrac are still a little off. Thanks to Mike and his Sunray we located it in the sidewall of my hole. A 1803 LC. A little while later I got a good 1-48, 1-49. Last time I got this number it was the silver ring 2 weeks ago. This time after a good 8 I saw the nice shiny Silver in the hole. <:
Another fun day out detecting. Thanks again for the invite Mike thumbsup01

Congrats on your new e-trac. A site is never hunted out with that bad boy. I would go back over my old sites and watch what you find. thumbsup01

WOW! :shocked04:

Love the Barber Quarter! :smitten:

And that 1803 Large Cent is an amazing find! We don't get those around here. crying01

That was a great hunt, Steve! I'm glad you're having success with your new E-Trac! :clapping:

Really nice finds Steve.Looks like you are getting the feel for the Etrac! That LC is in pretty good shape for an LI Copper.

Oh mama!! I love the Barber quarters. :smitten:
I haven't been able to find many this year so seeing the one you found has my mouth watering.
But... the LC is a coin that has all but alluded me in my metal detecting career. crying01
Great hunt Steve. :clapping:

it's always fun to hunt with a buddy....that way when you find a great find like you did you can share it right away.....love barber coins!!!

That E-TRAC is a mean machine :peace:. Its great that we can compare the M6 and the E-TRAC over good targets to get a feel for what it can do. I still can't believe it hit that large cent at 8-9 inches! Looking forward to next weekend :beerbuddy:
