Another Saturday Hunt with Noah / Big Silver

Digger Don

New member
Today Noah and I decided to stay a little closer to home. We drove about an hour north and tried a couple of towns we've never hunted before. The first house looked extremely promising, but unfortunately we found NOTHING. We drove about a half a block down the street for our second yard. It ended up being the best house of the day! I dug a 1952 Franklin,a 1908 Barber Qtr, a 1934 Washington, a Tootsie toy truck and then a 35 & 39 Merc.
After that, we hit a bit of a dry spell so we drove about 15 miles to the next town. Once again, the first house NOTHING, but the next house I dug a 57 Franklin half on my very first signal. Two in one day:wow:. I followed that with a 62 Rosie

The Indian was from a short hunt on the 4th.

I'm amazed at the number of big silver that you find! In the past 3 years I have dug about 300 silvers and not one of them has been a half! Congrats again!

Two Franklins?!! :shocked04: That's outstanding! Hardly ever see ONE dug! So what makes you leave these homes that are producing? Small yard and you covered it all? :congrats:

You need to change your avatar Don, or should I say Half Dollar Don! Get that darned 2 center off of there and put a pile of silver halves in its place. Man, you continue to kill it in these yards. Congrats man.
