Another Shield Nickel

Was at my newly discovered cellar hole spot which has been pounded most likely because it's off some popular hiking trails, and got a 49, 50 signal on my AT Pro.

I dug down four inches and sure enough and pulled out a nickel sized disk, I took off some dirt and sure enough it was another shield nickel! Two in one week!

The one on the left is the one I dug most recently.

great job on saving that coin Sam , a lot of detectorists will ignore these targets at cellar sites because they sound to much like shotgun shells but a good hobbyist will dig them anyways . well done Sam :clapping:

Thanks Dan! I really appreciate it.

I've been detecting for about 7 years now and have yet to dig a shield nickel, but you dig 2 in a week. Huge congrats on your 2nd one.

 :congrats: That is amazing that is still on my very long bucket list and you found 2 in a week :thumbsup02:
