August 8th finds from a park I've been hunting recently

I managed to find me a piece of a ring, 6 wheats, clad and odds and ends at the park where I've been pulling a little silver from recently. Ever since a friend of mine told me the park opened in 1911 I've been hitting it hard. The ring part gave me a nickel reading.

You are getting the wheats and some older ones at that. There should be some Mercs hiding close by. I hope they did not bring in too much fill to that park!

:congrats:The ring probably is gold since it came in at a nickel reading! The 10k ring I found last year came in at a 12-12
at 7" I thought would be a old nickel with my e-trac. HH

Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me. The stamp says STER 12K. No?
It looks like a gold AND silver ring!! I bet the other piece of it is near by. Go back and look for a signal just under a dime. high zinc / low copper type reading. It looks like the band is the silver part and the flower is the 12K part. It looks like Rose gold or black hills gold.

After a closer look. Maybe you won't find a second part of a ring. That looks to be a broken earring.
