Beautiful Autumn Day....but no coins

I was out for about three hours today to a recently plowed wheat field. I've found many cool things in these fields over the years but not too much today, but it sure was nice out!

Still some cool finds! I was out today myself since it was so nice, but nothing good found today. Still waiting on the farmers to harvest in my area to access the fields.

Thanks, yes waiting anxiously for the soybeans to be taken down.

nice decorative piece part of a lantern ? The rough plow is hard to hunt the farmers just got one of mine smoothed out and the we had a hurricane.

I've never had luck on a freshly ploughed field. Maybe after it settles a bit? Love seeing shards in a field.

Ploughed fields are nice after a good rain , you get to detect and hunt with your eyes for points , congrats Darren .

I'm sure you'll get the coil back over some goodies at that field soon. Great looking weather to hunt in for sure!

I'd agree a tad with Drew. The last field I hunted produced 1 buckle for me and some odds. The plowed corn field was not the greatest as some of the old stalks were still there and the others that were pulled up made for really uneven terrain to swing the coil. Someone still managed a nice lock, there were a few ox knobs, sweet two center, and a few IH (1860 and 1868). Just didn't fair well enough for me. That field obvi had a lot of activity judging by what you dug up including the ceramics.
