Best Silver Day Yet - -Double /Trifecta

I picked up Rob this am at 5:30 and off we went. We decided to head back to a certain park and what a day. First I will tell ya what Rob got cause I am not sure he will post. 7 SILVERS - 1 Barber, 5 Mercs, 1 Rosie, 9 wheats and a buff and what he thinks is a junk ring.

I got the most silvers ever in one hunt - -5 SILVERS. They are 1944 Wash, 1935 & 1945 Merc, 1957D Rosie and a 1900 Barber. I am counting this Barber as a coin but it is also a Love Token. No debates allowed. So there is my dime trifecta. The nickels are a Jeff, Buff, and a V. Still working on getting dates from the Buff and V. Wala, nickel trifecta. Got 8 more wheats also.

Also got myself a top to a ladder badge that says SPRINGFIELD MASS and a junk ring.

Never got a trifecta and never got a Love Token either.

:congrats: on the LOVE TOKEN it's a beaut. And of course on the tri-fecta.

Soak those nickles in soy sauce for an hour in a plastic cup so you can lean them against the side. That gets both sides soaked at the same time. Then scrub with a brush and if you can't see the date rub a little veg oil on it. GL/HH

Five silvers in one hunt will put a smile on your face every time! The love token is exceptionally cool! I've never found one and I think they are so neat. Nice that a loop was added to yours instead of a hole being drilled in the coin. The obverse seems to have very little wear.

Some of the silvers that come out of this spot come out very grey. I ran my silvers and the token thru the tumbler and it came out a nice shiney grey (?).
