Best Yard EVER! 10 Silvers & an unknown Copper!

Alright Dave now you gone an done it :shocked05:....
i'm going to have to put the
"number of times I'm jealous of Dadddigger" 1
down on my signature because not only are you starting to pull some "single hunt" amazing silver totals but now old coppers too:notworthy:

Don't make me raise that number Dave
Thanks Del, I definitely got lucky! I'm curious about the 1806 copper though. Since we were minting our own coins by 1806 why would we still be using British coins?

Dave , we were using foreign currency of all kinds up until 1857 when the government made it illegal to do so. It really didn't matter who was on it as lond as it was good copper or silver it was accepted .

Wow!!!!!!!!! fantastic silver haul you got there for sure a big congrats on all them fantastic finds :thumbsup02:

................................................... :congrats:

:wow: and :wow:. All those quarters plus a WLH and a Franklin and a rosie AND a copper. Can't wait to see what the other 1/2 of the yard produces. Huge :congrats:on that hunt.

What a great hunt! Love that big silver. Congrats on your finds! Makes me want to get out of the fields and go knock on doors and detect some yards.

:shocked01: I have not seen that much silver in one hunt in ...... forever  When you are through with the second half of that yard, return to the first half and dig any non ferrous target.... You may be pleasantly surprised at what still lurks there. Fantastic hunt Dave! :beerbuddy:
